David Boaz from the Cato Institute gives us some more perspective of the bad book review in the NYT. Check it out here.

I especially like the part on the misquotes of the book, which are faults due to sloppiness rather than error of thinking. IMO, this is even worse than making a logical fallacies, because that can happen, however, sloppiness is a character trait of laziness rather than logic. Also, a newspaper which is proud of its accuracy and expertise, shouldn't have such sloppiness in their book reviews.
