Geschichte hier: http://www.spiegel.de/politik/deutschland/0,1518,364682,00.html

Kommentar hier:

Na dann, Brave Green World!

Terrorism strikes again

First of all, my condolences to all the British citizens in London and all the losses you had to suffer today. It is an outraging tragedy that happened today and I hope that those people will have to go through all sorts of hells.

Then, I hope everyone will take a minute off and consider what happened there and if he wants this to happen to him.
These guys are not misunderstood children of some sort, these are cold-blooded murderer.
I hope this will finally convince the rest of Europe that Islamism is no foe to be underestimated, but also that no kind of security will ever protect us from this. It is a two pronged issue that you have to consider: A NO to state control and a NO to Islamism.

Bush and G8 on Climate Change

Climate change is the only topic where I can say that I agree with Mr. Bush and his assertion. A limit on CO2-emission will most likely cause more damage than do good (ex)ample: see Kyoto Protocol and Europe), also it is likely not to work (again, see Kyoto and Europe: Greece has 50 % more Emissions than allowed and even France has 8 % over the guidelines). I agree that there is a climate change and that we have to deal with it in the long run. However, there is nothing to be alarmed about. We will assess this in due time and have the right answers to the question, which will be posed in 300 something years.

I don't deny climate change, what I deny is the outcome of a bit warming, which other scientists perceive as so dangerous. As Mr. Steve McIntyre summarized on his blog http://www.climateaudit.org, there is a hockey-team that wants alarmism to continue and even disregards the calls to active productive research (to be found here: http://www.realclimate.org). Censure is normal on this board and so disagreeing views are of no concern to them.
I think something is wrong with science, when the advocates are trying to alarm the world, but don't provide any leads to how a solution would be achieved. It is always easy to find a problem and not to think about a solution, or leave it to engineers and else to solve the problem.
This is exactly the kind of negative science that has won over the public. Of course, there are many problems in the world, that we must deal with, but we can't take care of all of them at once.

There is still dissent over the MBH program, which has been kept secret by Mann even after several requests. Therefore the issue of global warming and most important the magnitude of its influence on climate change and the causes for it, are still to be discussed.

In this light, it is only reasonable by Mr. Bush not to rush to any judgment, which shows a rather distinguished view, which I only contribute to the influence of big business in the US policies - well, on the other side those big businesses are complying with Green Emission regulations.
Still, in the end, it is Mr. Bush (this time) who shows a clarity of mind, which is lost to most European leaders.

Royal Society backs man-made warming again

... and leaves aside the impacts on human economy and standard of living. It is always the same and even worse with the Royal Society, because the latter claims to be a scientific institute that promotes technologies to advance their political course.
However, they only want us to reduce CO2-emissions, while not stating how that is possible except by destroying our economy. There is no such thing as a soft change in the economic system and that's not what they promote.

Instead the RS wants us "to take decisive steps, now, to tackle the problem of global warming and climate change". However, again, there is no other indication than "CO2-emission-limits" and then we see the Kyoto-Protocol and the results in Europe.
All European Union member state that ratified Kyoto won't meet the standards set, even France and Germany have a deficit of 8 per cent of the acklaimed goal.
So, if even restrictions don't work, how then should we change our economy to limit CO2-emission?
Exactly, by producing better technologies, but this is something that the Royal Society doesn't advocate, or have you ever heard of product, except of limiting CO2-emissions?

Don't take me for granted, just go and look for yourself:

http://www.royalsoc.ac.uk/

Ah, yes, and the Russian Science Academy revoked their backing of the Royal Societies statement on Global Warming... very interesting, eh :)

Climate Change and the Consequences

One could say that, despite the contrary evidence, global warming and man-made Climate Change occurs. Just look at science goof from this site:

http://www.realclimate.org/index.php?p=87

It's the standard theoretic gibberish that works in closed system examinations. They over-simplify the occurances in the atmosphere. It is right that maybe certain C-isotopes are predominant and that they may come from human action. However, we don't know enough about the different secondary reactions that could transform those Carbon elements.
For example, the forests in Germany are in their best shape since 300 years and plants are amongst the prime transformers of CO2 to O2. They need CO2 to thrive and grow as much as they need sunlight and water.
So, the predictions this website states are on their own correct, but they leave aside many secondary and other reactions that have an effect on the atmosphere or the CO2 level, not to mention that the consequences are not determined by these observations.

Even if all this data can be viewed sceptical, there is one thing that no climate scientist disputes: There is a global climate change on earth. This has been for thousands of years under way and it will happen thousands of years in the future. The earth is always changing and climate is nothing like a constant or a static system.

So, what are our options, if those alarmists are right about man-made climate change? If we believe the reports, we have produced 200% of the green house gases of the pre-industrial era. So, to reverse the effect and stop global warming, we would have to dismantle our industry and go back to the woods. This would mean the end of any techonolgy, any wealth and comfort we have come to via science and progress.
And if they are wrong and the climate change is coming, even if not man-made, at least we have the wealth, technology and ressources to deal with it by man's mind.
So, what would you choose? Tribal hope by religious belief deep in the jungle and woods, or survival by man's brilliant mind and techonologies?

I have chosen for me, have you?

Grüner Sozialismus greift weiter an

Meanwhile, the Royal Society is trying to impose some kind of self-censorship on
the British media, urging them not to report skepticism about Global Warming
(Item #4). The Telegraph has a humorous take on this -- but this can get out of
hand as major science journals seem to be following this disturbing trend.
Fortunately, the Canadian press is as vigorous as ever (Item #5).

The European Union faces real problems in meeting its Kyoto targets, as
Iain Murray reminds us (Item #2). There is even talk in the European Parliament
about economic action against the US (Item #3). To add to Tony Blair's problems
as he gets ready to assume the EU chairmanship, a group of Britain's leading
industrialists has written him urgently demanding long-term policies on climate
change. [BBC report May 27, 2005]. The heads of the 12 leading firms say climate
change is a huge challenge that needs serious investment by business. But they
say they cannot invest because they are not sure what future government policies
on climate will be.

The IPCC, whose predictions of future climate disaster are based on phony
economics, is immune to rational economic discussion. David Henderson, and his
colleague, Ian Castles of the Australian National University, have been unable
to establish a rational dialogue with the IPCC.
The same problem exists in the field of climate science, where the pillars holding up the IPCC conclusion of human-caused global warming have been eroded by contrary evidence.

PETA and Killing Dogs

It is no myth that PETA is a radical and insensitive animal rights (which in itself is a philosophical problem) movement that often tends to shoot over the target.
If the following is right, then I must advise that it is also the most hypocritical movement I have seen.

There is a growing number of websites who complain about PETA and their activities, because the organization didn't do what it said it'd do.
PETA wants people to send found dogs and cats to their central, where they will get a new home. However, several people claim that this didn't happen. In fact, PETA reported only around 1-3 dogs have been reassigned to a new home. However, there were a lot more dogs and cats sent to the Headquarter. Where have they gone?

PETA, the organization for the ethical treatment of animals(!!!! what an irony), first denied that those puppies and kitties were killed and said it had sent them to local pet shops. Those pet shops however said that they were willing to take some of the animals, if PETA had contacted them.
So, what else might have happened to those lost animals?

They have been killed by PETA, at least the CCR believes this. I am not sure, but the whole evidence points in this direction, but go and check it out. See for yourself and judge whether PETA is as cruel as those people say.
